Last week the Telluride Ski & Golf Company closed a deal to assume management of the Peaks Resort & Spa in Mountain Village. The Ski Company also purchased over 73,000 square feet of commercial space in the Peaks building. The hotel features 177 guest rooms, a 42,000 square foot spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and numerous meeting facilities and space.
Real estate sales also continue on pace with last year with dollar volume of sales in San Miguel County through June up 1% from 2014 and number of sales up 5%. The Town of Telluride remains the most active segment of the market but there is activity in almost all segments of the market.
